Emily is from Houston, Texas and represents Jackie’s Java at farmers markers this summer. She hadn’t worked with coffee before coming to Jackie’s Java, but she has always loved it.
Emily primarily works at the farmers markets in Fort Collins on Saturdays and Sundays, but has worked a few in Laramie this summer as well. Emily feels that the job is a perfect fit because she loves being outside, enjoys engaging with people, and absolutely loves coffee. She also likes the fact that her job is different every weekend. She enjoys brewing new flavors for customers to try and gets a kick out of talking coffee all day long! Emily also loves getting to learn more about coffee for herself.
She loves all the Jackie’s Java espressos, calling herself an “espresso girl.”
Emily is currently studying biomedical and mechanical engineering with a minor in nutrition in her fifth year at Colorado State University. One day she hopes to design prosthetics for adaptive athletes and maybe even work in sports nutrition.
